Bond $3M for suspect in killing near Ohio church

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP) - Bond has been set at $3 million for an Ohio man suspected in the shooting of a man who was killed as he and his wife left their church.

Twenty-five-year-old Kevin Agee did not enter pleas on charges of aggravated murder and felonious assault during a Wednesday hearing in Youngstown Municipal Court.

He's accused in the death of 75-year-old Thomas Repchic and the wounding of his 74-year-old wife, Jacqueline, who were shot in their car Saturday as they left St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church. Police continue to search for a second suspect.

The shooting came about eight months after another member of the church was killed by a gunman in the church parking lot. Another man has been charged with that crime. Court records did not indicate whether Agee had an attorney.

He remains in the Mahoning County jail.
