The Mason Comets (4-2, 3-0) continued their impressive 2010 campaign as they squeaked by the Oak Hills Highlanders (2-4, 0-3) in a GMC thriller.

Senior running back David Fulcher carried the Comets to a victory as he picked up 156 yards and a touchdown on 31 carries. He also caught a 12-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter to put Mason up for good.

Mason's defense came up with a pair of turnovers and held Oak Hills to just 83 yards on the ground in the win. Zach Moore and Corey Cooper each came up with a fumble recovery for the Comets.

The Highlanders were led by Tommy Konkoly, who rushed for 99 yards and a score in the loss.

Mason heads to Middletown next Friday night. Oak Hills returns home for a matchup with Fairfield.
