The top-ranked Colerain Cardinals continued to breeze through GMC play as they took down Lakota East 49-17 on the road Friday night.
Colerain (6-0) got huge efforts from quarterback Tyler Williams and sophomore running back Chris Davis. Williams rushed for three scores and 180 yards on 17 carries and Davis found the end zone twice and tallied 166 yards on the ground on just 10 attempts.
Lakota East (2-4) running back J.D. Whetsel contributed with 82 yards on 11 carries in the loss.
The Cardinals look to remain unbeaten as they play host to Hamilton in Week 7. Elsewhere, the Thunderhawks will square off versus Princeton in a road tilt.
