Jury selection under way for man accused of killing local attorney

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) - Jury selection is underway in Butler County for a man accused of killing a local attorney as well as a witness to the crime.

Calvin McKelton, 32, is charged with the murder of his ex-girlfriend, Margaret Allen.

Allen was an attorney in Fairfield. Her body was found in the East End in July of 2008. Police say she was strangled.

McKelton is also charged with the murder of Germaine Evans, who was a witness in Allen's murder. Evans was killed in Mount Auburn about eight months after Allen.

McKelton could get the death penalty if convicted.
