Man gets 15 years to life for death of stepson

BATAVIA, OH (FOX19) - A Bethel man was sentenced Friday for the death of his stepson.

Timothy Hoskins will spend 15 years to life behind bars for the murder of Jerry Wells, 2.

Hoskins was in the care of Wells when he died in June. Hoskins pled guilty last month to murder and tampering with evidence.

Wells' mother, Krystle Hoskins, is also facing charges because investigation revealed that the toddler suffered injuries prior to his death.

Krystle Hoskins is scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 29 for involuntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence.
