The Kings Knights picked up their fourth straight as they knocked off Walnut Hills 35-14 in FAVC Cardinal-action on Friday night.
Kings (5-1, 1-0) got big plays on all sides of the ball in route to a victory. Junior defensive end Tommy Schnee recovered a fumble for a touchdown. Sophomore Justin Crull returned a punt 65 yards for a touchdown and pulled in a 29-yard TD pass from Jonny Brewster for another score and running back Jamire Westbrook ran for a pair of touchdowns in the win.
Walnut Hills (3-4, 0-2) fell down 7-0, but responded when running back Kenneth Davis ran 71 yards for a touchdown to pull the Eagles even at 7-7. However, the Knights would roll of 28 unanswered points to put the contest to rest.
Kings travels to West Carrolton in Week 8. Things won't get any easier for Walnut Hills as they square off against top-ranked Turpin on the road.
