Hall of Famer Joe Morgan will throw first pitch before NLDS Game 3

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -- Hall of Famer Joe Morgan will throw the ceremonial first pitch before the Game 3 showdown between the Cincinnati Reds and the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday.

Morgan as the MVP of the 1975 and 1976 World Series Champion Reds. He was named Special Advisor to the baseball operations department in April. Morgan has supported and assisted in the development of the Reds community outreach and diversity initiatives while helping with the Reds Community Fund and the Reds Hall of Fame.

As of Saturday, Game 3 is scheduled to start at 7:07pm at Great American Ball Park. If the ALDS Yankees and Twins game concludes on Saturday night, the game will move to 8:07pm at GABP.

The first 40,000 fans will receive a Let's Got Red Rally Towel, compliments of Cincinnati Bell, Duke Energy, Kroger and Scotts.

The Phillies are in the lead in the NLDS 2-0.
