WEST CHESTER, OH (FOX19) - Deputies with the Butler County Sheriff's Office are looking for purse snatchers who have been targeting daycare facilities.

Sheriff Richard Jones says at least four cars were broken into on Tuesday morning. All of the cars were parked at daycare facilities as parents were dropping off their children. In all four cases, a window was broken out of a locked vehicle.

Just after 8 a.m., the bandits struck a vehicle at the Goddard School on Princeton Glendale Road in West Chester Township. About ten minutes later, the Kids R Kids on Hamilton Mason Road in Liberty Township had two vehicles targeted. About 15 minutes after that, a purse was taken at the Noah's Ark Day Care on Wayne Madison Road.

At this time, three of the four purses have been recovered. The Butler County Sheriff's Office is working with West Chester Police and Trenton Police and officers are talking with witnesses. Police are looking for a black SUV with Alabama license plates that was seen at all locations. The vehicle was occupied by up to four black males. If you see the vehicle, call 513-785-1300.
