OVER-THE-RHINE, Ohio (FOX19) - A generous donation is allowing people to go see the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra and Vocal Arts Ensemble at Memorial Hall, 1225 Elm Street, for less money this season.
This 2010- 2011 season celebrate the life of composer Robert Schummann.
"While the opening concert told the story of the beginnings of the Schumann family, the second concert skips years ahead to when Johannes Brahms enters the scene," said Mischa Santora, Music Director, of the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, "At this early stage, Schumann's admiration for this gifted pianist/composer was unclouded by some of the later complications, including Brahms' ambiguous relationship with Clara Schumann."
The first concert this season will be on Sunday, November 14th.
Tickets now cost $10 for adults and $5 for children. The concert will begin at 2 p.m.
