The Reading Blue Devils overcame a 21-point deficit to pick up their sixth win of the season as they defeated the Mariemont Warriors 28-21 at home on Friday night.

Reading (6-2, 4-1) scored 28 unanswered second-half points with a big effort for quarterback Mason Antoun. He ran in a pair of scores each from the 1-yard line during the third quarter and connected with Jake Overbeck for two touchdown passes in the final frame to seal the deal. Running back Devin Kendrick added 147 yards on 19 carries in the win.

Mariemont (4-4, 2-3) got three first-half touchdown runs with Griffin Donnelly, Kaleb Iles, and Alex Utt all getting in on the act. However, it was enough to overcome the Warriors' defensive collapse in the second-half.

Reading heads to Madeira in Week 9 while Mariemont will look to bounce back as they welcome Deer Park.
