Brian Cleckley stole the show as Hamilton (5-3, 3-2) picked up a decisive road win at Sycamore (5-3, 3-2). The Big Blue quarterback ran for 250 yards on 13 carries and three touchdowns, including scores from 87 and 74 yards. He also threw for a touchdown while racking 313 yards of total offense.
Casey Rowlette returned a blocked punt 15 yards for Hamilton touchdown less than two minutes into the second quarter giving the Big Blue a 28-0 lead. Sycamore would never recover. The offensive line created holes that led to 395 yards and a 7.7 yard average running the ball for the victors.
The Aviators did get a 102 yard rushing performance out of quarterback Kyle Sess.
Sycamore now has their work cut out for them with their tough schedule. Hamilton hosts Mason (5-3, 4-1) in another matchup.
