MONROE, OH (FOX19) - Two Dayton, Ohio, women are facing multiple charges after they were caught stealing from stores in the Cincinnati Premium Outlets.
Simone Hicks, 31, was arrested Saturday after she was seen stealing items from the outlet mall.
Hicks told police that an accomplice carried a 7" screwdriver in her two-year-old baby's diaper which she used to pry off security tags in dressing rooms.
Hicks would then leave the store with the unpaid merchandise. She is facing charges of theft, receiving stolen property, obstruction of official business, ownership of criminal tools and child endangerment in Lebanon Municipal Court.
The accomplish was not charged and was allowed to leave the mall with her child.
A third woman, Detasha Lowe, 31, is accused of being a getaway driver. Lowe is charged with receiving stolen goods.
