Cincinnati Museum Center to host BatFest

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Watch bats take to the skies at BatFest, Cincinnati Museum Center's annual celebration of the world's only flying mammal. Learn why bat conservation is important, along with some fun facts we bet you didn't know about these fascinating creatures! Activities are free for Members or with the purchase of an All-Museum Pass.

The event will be held on October 30, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Museum Center. Activities will include bat flight observation, fruit tasting, guest speakers, a costume parade, a scavenger hunt, and much more!

For $12.50, visitors can purchase an All Museum Pass to visit to the Duke Energy Children's Museum, Cincinnati History Museum and the Museum of Natural History & Science. Members are free. For more information, please visit www.cincymuseum.org.
