EVANSTON, OH (FOX19) - Several Bengals players are out in the community Tuesday, participating in the annual 'Hometown Huddle.'
NFL teams all over the nation are participating in the event, where football players and coaches get out and do something in their community.
The Bengals focused their efforts on the Evanston Recreation Center.
The center is getting a new Parcourse FitCircuit and walking path. The players are also restoring a basketball court and creating a practice field for the American Bantam Youth Football League. They are also beautifying the space near the American Red Cross building with flowers.
Head coach Marvin Lewis says this project will serve as a lasting gift to the community, giving children and adults a new place to enjoy the outdoors, stay active and enjoy time with friends and family.
