PRICE HILL, OH (FOX19) - A local teacher is appeared on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" Wednesday on FOX19.

David Sharp, a physics teacher at Elder High School, answered 8 questions correctly and accumulated $9,250 in winnings. He left after he couldn't answer the 9th question and had used all of his lifelines.

Some of his former students were in the audience to cheer him on during the taping of the show.

Sharp is also hosted a viewing party Wednesday at Elder, where students and staff watched him win.

If he had won the million bucks, Sharp said he would have retired early, bought a condo and a corvette.
