Paige Johnson's mother speaks out after failed search at East Fork Lake

COVINGTON, KY (FOX19)---"I pray every days she's alive,"says Donna Johnson. These days, she is a portrait of anguish. She barely granted an interview as the search for her daughter Paige enters into it's second month. She says she's always on edge.

"It's just hard to even get up and go on with your day because, you know, we don't know where she is. It's a feeling I can't explain. You know, it's the worst feeling in the world," says Donna.

Donna is surrounded by people who share her fears, grief and even hope. Over at Paint Yourself Silly a command post has sprung up for the community efforts to find the missing 17-year-old.

Lisa Little is getting ready for the benefit and vigil planned for Friday night, and others are planning how they can help. Someone else mans the "Paige You Are Safe Here" Facebook page. It now has more than 13,000 "likes".

"I have all the hope in the world, and I am completely devoted to finding her and making it known that she is safe here with us, with her family and her friends," says Paige Hanna.

That is all she and Donna Johnson want.
