Keep Cincinnati Beautiful plans over 30 projects

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Keep Cincinnati Beautiful is participating in the national cleanup effort, Make A Difference Day (MADD).

There will be thirty community improvement projects across the tri-state.

One of the projects will be near Lincoln Terrace where James Reed and his son were killed on September 25. Volunteers will clear the area around to expose the city steps and clearing illegal dumps.

Other areas such as Corryville, Mt. Airy and Clifton will be making their streets and gateways beautiful. Avondale, College Hill and Spring Grove Village plan to clean up parks and green space areas.

The University of Cincinnati will break ground on a new UC Garden.

The Walnut Hills project (Rammelsburg St and Braxton Campbell Ct), the Corryville project (2823 Eden Ave) and the UC project (3310 Ruther Ave behind UC Early Learning Center) will be Saturday, October 23 from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m..
