Author to speak on slavery at Freedom Center

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - An author will speak about the growth of human trafficking at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center.

Siddharth Kara, author of Sex Trafficking: Inside the Business of Modern Slavery and the first Fellow on Trafficking at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, will speak about human trafficking today.

Kara speech is November 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the Freedom Center's Harriet Tubman Theater.

The speech is part of series of events at the Freedom Center in conjunction with the opening of their new permanent installment, Invisible: Slavery Today.
