Meth found during traffic stop

LEBANON, OH (FOX19) - A Hamilton man is behind bars after police pulled him over for a traffic stop and discovered meth in his car.

Around 5:30 p.m. Monday evening, Lebanon Police conducted a traffic stop on Rose Marie Drive. During the stop, police located components commonly used for the manufacture of methamphetamine.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, Michael R. Lawson, 40, of Hamilton, was arrested for illegal manufacture of meth and transported to the Warren County jail. His bond was set at $15,000.

Investigators from the Warren County Drug Task Force and Ohio BCI responded to the scene and processed the potentially hazardous material.
