Man arrested for theft from vehicles

ROSS TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A Cincinnati man is facing charges after police say he stole from at least two vehicles.

The Ross Township Police Department received the theft reports on Oct. 22. A set of Titlist Golf Clubs valued at $1,000 and a radar detector were taken from two different vehicles in the area of Cypress Lane and Venice Boulevard.

Detectives notified sporting goods stores in the area to be on the on the lookout for the stolen golf clubs. On Oct. 23, the police were notified that a man was at the Play It Again Sports on Fields Ertel Road attempting to sell the golf clubs.

Police arrested James Nickoson, 29, for receiving stolen property. During a search of his vehicle, police recovered several stolen items, including the radar detective.

Police are going through the items and old reports in an effort to match some of them up.
