Police look for Halloween mask-wearing bank robbery suspect

BATESVILLE, IN (FOX19) - Police are searching for a suspect involved in a Batesville armed robbery Wednesday morning.

At about 9:30 am Wednesday, Batesville Police received a call that the FCN Bank on the 1000 block of IN-229. When they arrived, police learned that a white male entered the bank wearing a mask and walked up to a bank teller holding a note. The note indicated that he was robbing the bank. The teller complied with the robber, and gave the man money.

The description of the suspect is that he's a white male, approximately 6'0 tall, thin build, and at the time of the robbery was wearing a Halloween Style Mask with white silky cloth connected to the sides and back of the mask, blue long sleeve sweater with a white tee shirt underneath, light tan colored khaki pants, and dark colored shoes with light colored socks.

The suspect was last seen running in the northwest direction.
