CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Hamilton County judge raised the bond of a man accused of causing a fatal crash on Interstate 71.
Police say Stanley Ivey, 57, was traveling over 100 miles per hour on Interstate 71 on Oct. 4 and hit a car that was disabled in the emergency lane. That car burst into flames, killing the driver, James Lester, of Loveland.
Ivey's posted a $50,000 bond after his first court appearance last month. On Friday, Judge Ethna Cooper raised his bond to $100,000.
Ivey has been indicted on charges of aggravated vehicular homicide, inducing panic and involuntary manslaughter. He faces up to 16.5 years in prison if convicted.
