The top-ranked Ryle Raiders wasted no time of disposing of Madison Central as they scored on their first five possessions en route to a 54-13 opening-round playoff victory.

Ryle (10-1) got 130 yards and three touchdowns from junior running back Travis Elliott on just seven carries. The Raiders were resting starters by halftime as they took a 40-0 lead to the locker room.

Head coach Bryson Warner turned to many of his reserves in the second half and the underclassmen still were able to outscore Madison Central 14-13 over the game's final 24 minutes.

Up next, Ryle will host Campbell County. They beat the Camels 35-30 at home on October 1.
