Deer charges through window, into Ohio school

GRANVILLE, Ohio (AP) - A deer charged through a glass window and into a student union at an Ohio university before two bow hunters killed it and donated the meat to a local family.

The Columbus Dispatch reports a big-antlered buck crashed through a windowpane and ran toward the snack bar at Denison University in Granville on Friday.

Only a few employees were inside. Two workers locked the injured deer in an office before local hunters shot and killed it.

A school official says she's not sure whether the deer mistook its reflection for another male deer and attacked or if it was just frightened.

Granville is about 30 miles east of Columbus.
