All 34 Chihuahuas adopted in Brown County

BROWN COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -- All thirty-four dogs who were rescued from an abandoned home in Brown County are now in new homes on Saturday.

An Adopt-a Thom was held at the Anderson Family Center Saturday afternoon. All of the dogs were rescued on October 11 after being left in an abandoned home in Brown County. Since then the Chihuahuas have been nursed back to health.

There were numerous organizations involved in the caring of these dogs including: TriState County Animal, Response Teams ( CART), the Brown County Humane Society, the Anderson Family Pet Center, the League for Animal Welfare, UCAN, All Creatures Animal Hospital, Circle Storage and a number of volunteers.
