BATAVIA, Ohio (AP) - A Clermont County man prosecutors say ordered his teenage daughter to atone for her mother's death by taking her place in bed has been sentenced to six years in prison.
The girl, now 18, was driving two years ago when she turned into the path of a pickup truck, resulting in a wreck that killed her mother.
Prosecutors in southwest Ohio's Clermont County say the father made his daughter sleep with him and, among other psychological abuses, tell her two younger sisters she caused their mother's death.
Prosecutors dropped 10 counts of sexual imposition Tuesday while the 41-year-old man pleaded guilty in September to felonious assault.
His name wasn't reported to protect the victim's identity.
