MAYSVILLE, KY (FOX19) - Investigators now know what caused a fire at the historic Cox building in Maysville.

They believe flood lights that were left sparked the fire that broke out Tuesday afternoon.

At least one firefighter was injured when the roof collapsed.

The building was in the middle of a major restoration, where it was going to become a culinary school and technical college. In the past, the building has housed a post office, a Masonic temple, a funeral parlor and a printing company.
