Suspect accused of scamming more money from elderly man

WEST CHESTER, OH (FOX19) - West Chester Police are looking for a man accused of scamming an elderly man out of $14,000.

Police announced they were looking for Christopher Gibbs in early October for taking over $11,000 from an elderly man in exchange for trimming bushes in the man's yard.

Since then, police have learned that Gibbs has taken $3,000 more from the man.

Police believe there could be more victims and that Gibbs is working with a man named Christopher Hayes, who is a person of interest in the case.

Hayes is described as a twenty eight year old white male, white, 6'00", 220lbs, brown hair, brown

Gibbs is described as a twenty three year old black male, 6'03", 200lbs, black hair, brown eyes.

Both suspects are believed to be traveling in a white pick-up truck with open trailer.

Christopher Gibbs is currently wanted for Felony Theft out of Butler and Montgomery Counties.
