Money taken from local JV football team

LATONIA, KY (FOX19) - Covington police are looking for a suspect who stole money from the Holy Cross High School junior varsity football team.

The theft occurred on Oct. 17 at 8:40 a.m. Police say the suspect entered an office and took $2,000 that was stored inside two lock boxes. The money had been raised the football players and their families.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid to late 30's, heavy set, with brown hair. He was wearing a black sweat suit at the time of the offense.
