After being shut out during the first half, the Holy Cross Indians' offense came to life late to knock off DeSales 26-14 in Class 2A playoff action on Friday night.

Holy Cross (7-5) trailed 7-0 at intermission, but got on the board in the third quarter when Kyle Fuller ran one into the end zone from eight yards out. The fourth quarter would belong to the passing game though.

Quarterback Jerry Arlinghuas connected with wide receiver Josh Jasper for two scores in the final 12 minutes to seal the deal. Arlinghaus finished the night by completing 12 of 24 passes for 235 yards. Jasper caught four balls for 119 yards in the win. Chad Fuller would add a late touchdown on a 3-yard run.

The Indians advance and are set to square off against NewCath, their district foes, next Friday night on the road.
