A Symmes Township hotel was robbed, suspect still on the run

SYMMES TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - The Clarion Hotel clerk was robbed around 10 p.m. Friday night.

Police report that a man came into the lobby of the Clarion Hotel at 8870 Governor's Hill Drive and demanded the clerk to give him the money from the cash register. The amount of money given has not been released. He then asked the clerk for her purse and money from the safe. As he was going through her purse, she called 9-1-1. The suspect then fled the scene.

He is being described has a white male in his late 50's, wearing blue jeans, a black sweat shirt worn inside out, white tennis shoes, white gardening gloves and armed with a black handgun.
