Bengals sell out streak in jeopardy

Posted: Updated:

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Cincinnati Bengals' streak of 56 consecutive sell outs could be in jeopardy.

The 2-7 Bengals play the 1-8 Buffalo Bills Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium. If the game does not sell out, it will not be shown on local TV.

Spokesman Jack Brennan told FOX19's Brian Giesenschlag, "We can say we don't expect the game to sell out." However, Brennan says no official announcement will be made until the blackout deadline, which is at 1 p.m. Thursday.

The Bengals have not had a regular season or postseason home game blacked out since Nov. 9, 2003.

Tickets can be purchased by phone through the Bengals Ticket Hotline at 513-621-8383 (TDTD) or may be ordered at any time through www.ticketmaster.com.
