Police: Nearly 200 stolen items found at man's home

BATAVIA, OH (FOX19) -  A Clermont County man is facing several charges after police say they found nearly 200 stolen items in his home.

Frank Boatrite, 37, was indicted by a Clermont County grand jury on a 14-count indictment, including 11 counts in Warren County.

Boatrite was arrested Oct. 24 while police were investigating a breaking and entering offense in Harlan Township. A John Deere lawnmower was stolen from a home in the 8300 block of SR 28.

Acting on a tip, a Warren County Deputy responded to Boatrite's home and found the lawnmower in the bed of Boatrite's pickup truck.

Boatrite attempted to flee on a motorcycle that had been stolen from Goshen.

An investigation and search warrant served at Boatrite's home recovered 175 stolen items.

Boatrite is being held at the Clermont County Jail.
