WEST CHESTER, OH (FOX19) - A West Chester Township father and son are facing charges after police found a marijuana-growing operation in a basement.
Deputies responded to the 7100 block of Summerhil Drive on Tuesday after receiving an anonymous tip. Upon arrival, police found several marijuana plants growing in the basement. Each room was separated into plants of similar stages. Officers also found scales and finished marijuana.
A father, Arthur Hull, and his son, Ryan Hull, were home at the time of the search warrant. Ryan Hull admitted to living in the home. A search warrant was also obtained for the residence of Arthur Hull, and various paraphernalia was confiscated at that location, as well.
The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending. BURN agents are looking into the possibility of the grow operation being located within 1000 feet of a school.
Overall, police confiscated 166 plants, grow lights, chemicals, scales and paraphernalia.
