ROSS TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A Butler County man is behind bars after police found a meth lab in his home.
Butler County Sheriff's BURN task force received an anonymous tip about a meth lab in the 2400 block of Smith Road.
When investigators arrived, the occupant of the home, Troy Smith, 39, was cooperative and showed officers remnants of his last cook. Also located was everything needed to begin cooking again. The lab was split up between the kitchen and the garage.
Smith was on probation for a previous possession of cocaine. He is now charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, assembly of chemicals, possession of methamphetamine and violation of probation.
