Kentucky governor recognizes sacrifice made by 5 soldiers.

FRANKFORT, Kentucky (FOX19) - Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear has announced that flags will be at half staff to recognize the sacrifice made by five soldiers based at Fort Campbell.

Specialist Shane H. Ahmed, 31, of Chesterfield, Michigan, Specialist Nathan E. Lillard, 26, of Knoxville, Tennessee, Specialist Scott T. Nagorski, 27, of Greenfield, Wisconsin, Specialist Jesse A. Snow, 25, of Fairborn, Ohio and Private First Class Christian M. Warriner, 19, of Mills River, North Carolina were killed when their unit was attacked by insurgents with small fire arms.

Beshear has ordered that flags be at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on each of the soldier's burials.
