CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters has announced the sentence for a man who killed his four roommates in Sharonville in 2007.

Santiago Moreno, 36, was sentenced Thursday in Mexico to 120 years in prison.

Jose De Jesus Davila Duenas, Manuel Davila Duenas, Conrado Lopez Guardado and Lino Guardado Davila were found beaten and stabbed to death in a Sharonville apartment in December of 2007. The fifth roommate, Moreno, was not at the apartment, and all of his belongings were missing.

Following the murders, Moreno fled to Mexico with $20,000 he stole.

In March of 2009, the Hamilton County grand jury returned a sealed indictment for aggravated murder against Moreno. He was arrested in April of 2009 in Tampico, Tampaulipas. The Hamilton County cases were unsealed and released to Mexico for prosecution in Mexico.

The case was tried in Tampico and Moreno was sentenced Thursday.

Deters thanked the Sharonville Police Department, the FBI, the Mexican Government and the Mexican Consulate for their assistance in the case.
