SOFAST Team grabs Green St. murder suspect

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Bond was set at a million dollars for a man who was arrested Friday night for a murder in Over-The-Rhine earlier this month.

Cincinnati Police say they figured out that 22-year-old Andino Powell of Over-the-Rhine was behind the killing, and put out a warrant for his arrest Friday night.  Within three hours he was arrested by the SOFAST team,  a task force operated by the US Marshals and local police that finds and arrests wanted persons.

27-year-old Michael Alexander was found on Green Street at Race street after people heard shots in the area.  He had been shot in the face.

Powell appeared in court Saturday morning.  The murder happened in the middle of the day on November 11.
