Police suspect alcohol, speed in head-on crash

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Two people are in University hospital with serious injuries after a serious crash Friday night in West Price hill.

Police traffic investigators say a pick up truck driven by 31-year-old Christopher Grisham was traveling westbound on Glenway at a high rate of speed when he crossed the center line and struck a Dodge Caravan around 8:30 Friday Night.

Grisham was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the from the pickup and was taken to University Hospital. The driver of the minivan, 46-year-old Jeffery Smith, was trapped for a short period of time and was also taken to University Hospital.

Police say speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash.
