CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A fourth zone is now open for the city of Cincinnati's Mobile Food Vending Pilot Program.
The spots are located at Sawyer Point, across from the Purple People Bridge.
"We surveyed mobile vendors and asked for feedback and their overwhelming response was, 'more vending zones, especially near stadiums,'" said councilwoman Laure Quinlivan. "I'm happy council is quickly reacting to feedback from vendors, business owners and the public to make sure this program is a success."
The city's Community Development Department estimates that 80 jobs have been created by the mobile food vending program, as well as $16,000 of revenue from license fees. There are 20 vendors are in the pilot program, as seven more are on a waiting list.
