Aurora police investigate numerous vandalism reports

AURORA, IN (FOX19) - Aurora Police are investigating several reports of vandalism to vehicles and homes.

The first report came on Nov. 20, when police responded to a home that was damaged from a pellet or BB gun.

As of Tuesday morning, police have also received several other vandalism reports, including:

  • 12 vehicles with window damage
  • 2 school buses with window damage
  • 1 back hoe with window damage
  • 2 houses with window damage
  • 1 business with window damage

Two separate witnesses have reported seeing a dark colored, possibly a green Jeep, with a rag top, lift kit and an Indiana "Support our Troops" license plate speeding away.

The damage has been consistent from case to case. The incidents are occurring at various locations.

All citizens are being urged to be alert and watch for suspicious vehicles in your neighborhood.
