PARMA, OH (WOIO) - Police say an Ohio mother who was driving drunk ran over and killed her own daughter.

The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Meagan Skeens, and the drunk driver has been identified as her mother, 45-year-old Kimberly Rudnay.

The accident happened around 3AM Sunday morning in Parma, Ohio.

9-1-1 Operator: "What's going on? Tell me what do you need."
Suspect: "I was driving my car in my driveway and I backed down and I think I hit her, please." Operator: "You hit somebody in your driveway?"
Suspect: "My baby girl, please."

Kimberly was horrified after striking, possibly running over her daughter.

Police say the 45-year-old was in her car arguing with her 22-year-old daughter. The daughter started to get out and mom, who'd been drinking, hit the gas.

Neighbors looked outside and saw Meagan in the driveway and mom was hysterical.

"The door was actually open, it basically ripped the door off the car. I guess that's what knocked the girl down initially," Mike Hanrahan.

"You just saw blood streaming down the driveway. Yes it was pretty intense."

"When we came outside she was like rolling outside on the grass, screaming."

"I think she was saying it wasn't my fault, please help me, it was an accident."

Rudnay was arrested at the scene. Meagan died at the hospital.

Rudnay is being held on the investigation into Aggravated Vehicular Homicide.
