Boy pulls off jewelry store theft with adult's help

MONROE, OH (FOX19) - Monroe Police are looking for a man and a little boy who are accused of pulling off an orchestrated theft at a jewelry store.

Police say the pair entered a store and the adult distracted the clerk while the child reached over the counter and took a display of rings.

The adult is 35 to 40 years old, heavy set, and wearing a black coat with red stripes on the sleeves and a black hat. The coat had a distinctive patch or insignia on the rear side.

The juvenile, who is between 9 and 11 years old, was wearing a black hat, jeans and a hooded sweatshirt with the Large Letters "AR" on one side and "EO" on the other.
