DELHI TOWNSHIP (FOX19) - Fifty-one year old Cisse Kane of Northside is charged with rape and sexual battery. Police said Kane, a registered home health nurse, raped a 22-year-old Delhi Township woman who is unable to move her arms and legs.

Delhi Township Police Lt. Joseph Macaluso said, "There was no way for her to defend herself or push anyone off of her when this was being done."

Kane appeared in court Friday morning pleading not guilty to the charges. The judge set a $600,000 bond. Police said Kane went to the victims home daily to care for her during overnight hours. The victim lives with her parents, and police said the sexual assault happened when her parents were home. On Wednesday, police arrested Kane at his apartment on Thompson Heights Ave.

"It's scary really," said Boe Davis, Kane's neighbor. "I live on his floor."

"Anytime that you have a sex crime, it's very upsetting and disturbing," said Macaluso. "This is particularly disturbing."

Police say Kane had been caring for the victim for about two months. Despite the victims physical condition, police say mentally she is very intelligent and gave details of the sexual assault. Now police are in search for any other possible victims.

Macaluso said, "Be on the lookout for other potential victims, any one else who had Mr. Kane as a health care provider. If any family or friends had him there, we would like to know if there is anything inappropriate that may have happened."

Kane works for Maxim Healthcare Services. Police said he has no history of inappropriate sexual behavior.

He is being held in the Hamilton County Jail.
