Arrest made in Corinth Marathon robbery

CORINTH, KY (FOX19)- Police have arrested a Corinth man and charged him with robbery after the Marathon station was robbed early Sunday morning.

Police say 31-year-old Golden Hall threatened the clerk with a knife and demanded money and cigarettes. He got away with about $300 and five cartons of cigarettes.

The Kentucky State Police, the Grant County Sheriff's Department, and the Williamstown Police Department found  Hall about one mile from the gas station.

Hall was arrested and charged with Robbery First Degree. He is currently in the Grant County Detention Center and the incident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police.
