CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Police say a man fleeing Cincinnati Police officers reached speeds of 120 mph before he was arrested.

Kenneth Steele, 30, was originally pulled over shortly before 9:30 p.m. Monday night for driving with one headlight on Interstate 74. During the stop, the police officer reportedly smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the car.

When the officer told Steele the vehicle was going to be searched, Steele sped away with no lights on, eventually reaching speeds well over 100 mph.

After driving for almost four miles, Steele was pulled over. Officers believe he may have thrown contraband from the vehicle during the chase, but none was located.

Steele has been charged with fleeing and eluding as well as driving with one headlight.
