CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Police have arrested a man they say has been scamming individuals across the Tri-State for over a year.

Larry Haynes, 45, allegedly ran an appliance repair scam on residents in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. Victim statements report he takes money to repair appliances but never returns to fix anything and keeps the money.

For two months, Cincinnati police have been searching for Haynes after filing multiple warrants. His latest scams focused on the Hyde Park area of Cincinnati.

Haynes was arrested Saturday after a brief foot pursuit outside his home in Union Township after police received a tip on his location.

His girlfriend, Kelly Malicoat, is facing one felony, and several misdemeanors and has been labeled an accomplice.

Haynes is facing seven felonies and three misdemeanors, many theft related.

Police believe Haynes and Malicoat used the money they scammed to feed their heroin habit.

Both are out of jail on bond.
