Police look for suspect wanted in at least two robberies

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati Police are looking for a man wanted for at least two robberies.

At about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night, police say a suspect took two cartons of cigarettes and attempted to take a 6 pack of beer from Shell Oil in the 9700 block of Colerain Avenue. When he was confronted by the clerk, he struck her in the jaw and head and when she fell to the ground, kicked her. The clerk refused treatment at the scene. The suspect fled on foot toward Niagara.

Police say the same suspect took a 12-pack of beer from the CVS in the 11600 block of Hamilton Avenue. In that incident, he attempted to grab the manager's arm when he tried to stop him from taking cigarettes.

The suspect is described as a black male, 40 to 50 years old, 5'9" to 5'10" and wearing a black Carhartt jacket, black work pants with colored patterned pockets on the rear, a black knit cap, glasses and black shoes. He was driving a dark colored older model Chevy Monte Carlo.
