Winter Hike Series registration starts

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - The Winter Hike Series is start registration for the five hikes to be held at five parks at the start of the new year.

The hikes will be held on five consecutive Saturday mornings at 10 am. The hikes will cover 4 to 5.5 miles of nature trails. Each hike will offer a bowl of hot soup and each hiker will receive a free hiking staff.

You must register at their website by Tuesday, December 21. The cost is $5 per person, per hike. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a registered adult. Space is limited and hikes are available until full. Pets are prohibited and drop-ins are not allowed.

A reminder, you must have a parking pass to enter the park.
