BLUE ASH, OH (FOX19) -- One man is dead after an accident on I-275 Sunday afternoon.

A short time before 2:30pm, Blue Ash Police units were called to a single car crash on eastbound Interstate 275 near the 48.4 mile marker.

Preliminary investigations reveal that the driver, 64-year-old Ronald Collier of Amelia, struck a guard rail on the right side of the road, traveled back across four lanes hitting the center median concrete wall, and overturned where he ended in the eastbound lanes.

Collier was transported to Bethesda North Hospital where he died a couple hours later.

He was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the accident.

The incident is still under investigation by the Blue Ash Police Department.
